Coffee with her
This is a beautiful poem about a boy being in the company of a girl whom he sees from a distance in a café and imagines how she is his companion while having coffee, a girl who understands the genuineness of his feelings .
Two seems a nice number when you’re alone
Two seems to be what you want
Another day without your friends
Who are away from town
Sitting sipping coffee
And i see another one
Just like me
Thinking about things i would have no clue about
But that face it glitters
No no it’s not the sun
No no it’s not my eyes
It’s just a scarf of beauty that she wears
And I see her through my naked eyes
I see her not indulged not even for a moment
Thinking about a stranger like me
Who me yes me and I can’t dare to speak to her
As she is away from what is around in her world that
I hear chimes and bells that shiver
That let her know about the time
Now her eyes wander through me
And I see her smile oh my
So a coffee ain’t that bad if you have someone else
Who thinks you are there not behind the curtains of man
